Introducing...TONY!

Now that I'm back in the states I can actually get to my blog so I have made a list and I plan on trying to catch up on my blogs while I'm here. The first one, which is WAY overdue, is an introduction of Tony. Most of you already know that he is my boyfriend and yes, he is Chinese not Italian. He works in the Foreign Affairs Office at the university that I taught at for the last 2 years. Since he works as my somewhat-boss (I know, scandalous, right? :) we had to keep our relationship under wraps while I was still there. Now that I am not working at that school anymore (another story, yet to come...) I can finally formally introduce you to him.

We've been officially together since about December and his real name is Zhao Haike but is known to most of you as "Tony." He just spent 2 weeks here in the states with me meeting my family and friends and seeing some good ole' Iowa and Wyoming sites. He is 29 and is originally from Southern China...the land of the spiciest foods you've ever tasted! His home province is Hunan. He loves anything to do with basketball or the NBA and he's a pretty good cook when he actually attempts it! Fun fact - he was trained to be a professional ping pong player up until the age of 11 when his parents decided that he just wasn't good enough...haha. But, he's still got a mean spin-like-crazy serve that I've only returned once - by accident. He's fun, helpful, genuine, honest and he takes very good care of me. :)

Now, some pictures!

Here we are 4-wheeling in Sundance, WY.

Taking a brief break at a lake up in the mountains.

We visited the big bull at the Iowa State Fair...do you think he liked it?

At the Badlands, South Dakota.

So, there he is. Now you all know him! I hope you get the chance to meet him very soon.
